A 3” bending capacity is built into every BendPak pipe bender, so you’ll only need these specialty dies to unlock your full bending potential. These dies are the product of BendPak’s exclusive step-cut manufacturing process that actually helps to contain the larger-sized tubing for a more uniform bend. BendPak is known for their innovative products, and this is just another prime example of that. You’ll be able to bend 3” tubing, and you’ll be able to expand and flare it. What used to be a big tubing job is now a smaller, more manageable task.
All BendPak tooling is precision-machined from solid steel. After the CNC machining process, the tooling becomes gas-carburized, oil-quenched, and finally heat-treated to a minimum hardness of 58 Rockwell. You won’t find any cast or ductile (brittle) iron used in the manufacturing of any of BendPak’s tooling.
