Open-Front Design and 14,000 lbs. of Might
The HDSO14AX from BendPak is a dominant lift, capable of lifting up to 14,000 lbs. with no issues. With its open-front design, this lift has been engineered without a front crossbar. Since they’ve ditched the front crossbar, operators can easily enter and exit from beneath the vehicle. Front-end adjustments become quick and trouble-free. The infinitely adjustable pitch will compensate for excessive loads and sloped floors.
Slip Plates & Turn Plates
The HDSO14AX comes with rear-facing multi-caster slip plates and front-facing turn plates which allow for precise, free-floating alignment. It includes top-of-the-line turnplates which feature an aluminum-alloy construction which can easily be positioned using BendPak’s turn plate pockets. These plates are larger and more robust than previous designs, these turnplates are lighter in construction and feature dual “popsicle gap stops” for added convenience. The angled steel lock pins will hold the plate in place if you find yourself wanting to use your lift strictly for maintenance or storage purposes.
Dual-hub cable sheaves
When going with a BendPak lift you will find that their lifts include strong, durable, and oversized 10.5” diameter cable sheaves within the runway and cross tubes, as well as 2.25” diameter sheave axles. With these high-quality components your car lift will be running efficiently for a good long time.
Heavy-duty aircraft cable
Four aircraft quality steel cables run within the columns. They are legitimately the ultimate standard for high-quality cable construction and safe lifting.
Adjustable height locking positions
This lift features multiple locking heights which will allow your mechanics of varying heights to be able to work comfortably. Thanks to the open-front design, anyone will be able to go underneath, no matter their height.
Built-in lubrication
One essential component to this lift is its grease fittings. They will have the cable sheaves lubricated so productivity won’t be interrupted.
Spring-loaded safety locks
The HDSO14AX features spring-loaded safety locks which will engage as the lock ascends into position. This intuitive design will work to keep the platforms even, even if there is a tiny slope to your garage flooring.
Push-button pneumatic lock release
The air locks make the locks release at the same time every time. The instant release ensures that the alignment lift platforms will descend evenly every time.
Secondary lock system
Thinking of everything, a backup lock system was built in the event that cable slack is detected. If this were to occur, the cable would be immediately “grabbed”, and the entire operation would cease immediately.
Longer approach ramps
It is easier to load low ground-clearance vehicles, due to the long approach ramps. It is so easy in fact that you will never scratch up the bottom of your car or struggle with the gas pedal to give enough gas, assuming you aren’t shooting onto the ramp at an unsafe speed.
Flexible protective conduit
The high-duty conduit that surrounds the airlines and hydraulic hoses keeps damage from occurring to the cables. It also protects you from getting shocked.
