Take Home a Super-Wide Four-Post Lift
There are so many vehicles out there which can come in all sizes, and some of them are definitely wider than others. That’s where the HD-9SW shines. This four-post lift sits fat and happy when it’s holding wider vehicles. If for some reason this lift isn’t up to the task, you should consider the HD-9SWX. Both models are great choices for vehicles that are on the wide side.
Since this is a BendPak lift, you can expect all the same parts and components that go into this lift to be completely safe and efficient. It doesn’t matter the height/width, BendPak has a lift made for you.
Dual-hub cable sheaves
Using single-hub sheaves is a fairly common practice which cuts down on costs. BendPak decided to use double-hub sheaves which end up reducing friction against the cables while at the same time extending the life of the lift axles.
Multi-level locking positions
By having multiple lock positions, your technicians will be able to safely stop the lift at the ideal height for them, or they can simply adjust to the right height for the job. This will be extremely useful when parking vehicles under the raised lift. You will also be able to adjust the lock position to best accommodate the height of your vehicle, as well as the ceiling height.
Heavy-duty aircraft cable
The HD-9SW comes sporting four lifting cables which will ensure that you have a level rise. They’re all constructed from high-grade stainless steel and are rated to handle 14,000 lbs. each. Combined they can hold 640% more than this four-post lift’s rated capacity. All of the cables are routed internally. This does two main things for your lift: it protects the cables from accidentally getting damaged from outside forces, and it helps maintain the sleek look of the lift.
Electric-hydraulic power system
This lift is equipped with an electric-hydraulic power system which is completely maintenance-free. The controls are conveniently placed and easy to use. You’ll stay totally at ease when operating the lift.
Large base plates
The HD-9SW includes 10” x 12” base plates which can either be bolted down or remain unbolted. You’re given both options so you can find the way that works best for you.
Integrated design
All the moving components are located within the structure. While it definitely makes the lift look better, it also addresses a major safety concern: externally routed components are exposed to additional dangers. BendPak thought of everything when designing the lift.
Low-deck runways
The HD-9SW has its runways rise just 4.5” off the ground, and with the gently inclining ramps you’ll be able to virtually lift anything.
Longer approach ramps
BendPak has made their runways low-profile and extended as far as possible. These design decisions make it so this lift is an ideal choice for handling sports cars as well as other low-standing vehicles without damaging them.
Automatic safety locks
If you want to engage the safety locks all you’ll need to do is raise the ramps just past the lock and then lower them back onto the lock. Afterwards, check out the lift to make sure that all the locks are on the same position. And you’re done! The HD-9SW can be held in that position indefinitely.
