The HDS-14X Offers Extreme Length, Extreme Ease-of-Use
BendPak calls the HDS-14X “limo style” because of how much front-to-back clearance it offers. With this lift your longest vehicles can make it over or under the lift with ease, and because it can fit low-profile vehicles as well as heavy, high-stance ones. The HDS-14X brings forward BendPak’s versatility and legendary craftsmanship directly to your garage. BendPak builds their lifts to be long-lasting, no matter the size or weight capacity of the lift.
The HDS-14X is an ideal four-post lift for commercial shops looking to expand their service abilities. The runways are extended 30” more than their standard-length model to a whooping 229”. You’ll get a safe climb out of the extended approach ramps, and with its 70” rise most mechanics will be able to stand upright to perform oil changes, exhaust service, wheel service, and other undercarriage activity.
Super-long 229″ runways
At the core of the HDS-14X is its expanded runway length. At 229”, there isn’t much out there that this lift can’t handle in its weight class. More vehicles mean more opportunities for profit, and best of all smaller vehicles fit too. It’s very possible that this lift alone could be all you’ll need to service every vehicle your customers bring in.
Dual-hub cable sheaves
Dual-hub sheaves reduce stress, fatigue, and wear across the entire structure of the car lift. Large sheaves improve the durability of the entire lift, so this limo style lift utilizes huge, 10.5” diameter cable sheaves within the runway and cross tubes, as well as massive 2.25” diameter sheave axles.
Large base plates
The HDS-14X has a solid foundation thanks to its 10” x 12” base plates. You won’t clutter up your space with these base plates.
Spring-loaded safety locks
Safety locks are one of the most important features of a car lift, if not the most important feature. BendPak locks engage continuously as the lift rises. The HDS-14X comes equipped with adjustable safety ladders, permitting fast, simple runway leveling. This will especially come in handy when compensating for slope.
Secondary lock system
The HDS-14X includes a secondary lock system which is on constant guard and acts as a slack-cable device in the extremely unlikely event of an unexpected cable failure. Although you may never need this system, it will give you peace of mind when dealing with heavy vehicles.
Longer approach ramps
The drive-on angle of the vehicle will decrease with extended approach ramps. This really comes in handy when working with low-riding sports cars which might otherwise get scratched or damaged.
RJ7W rolling bridge jack
BendPak’s RJ7W rolling bridge jack is enough to hoist half a 14,000 lb. vehicle in the air. This rolling bridge jack has a weight capacity of 7,000 lbs. and is practically necessary for four-post lift operators who are looking to maximize their shop capabilities and perform wheel service. This bridge jack is highly recommended for all full-service shops.
