BendPak’s Strongest and Longest Beast of Burden
The HDS-40X can handle up to 40,000 lbs. meaning that this beast can take on a lot of muscle. If you want to be prepared to handle the longest and heaviest vehicles on the road, you’ll need one of BendPak’s more impressive offerings. With runways that measure in at a whopping 310”, the HDS-40X is the heaviest-duty extended-length car lift that BendPak makes.
The power of this lift is no joke. This lift is great for military contractors, government entities, and large commercial truck repair companies because they all need a lift that can handle everything they throw at it. This industrial-grade lift goes far beyond a hobby lift. The HDS-40X will only fit in serious-minded commercial maintenance spaces. You’ll need a big bay with high ceilings, and if you have that then you’ll be happy to know that this lift also doubles as a parking lift and as an ultra-safe storage space.
Super-long runways
Super-duty vehicles need a clean approach and a wide runway to safely board a lift. At 28” wide, these runways can accommodate tires of virtually any diameter and width.
Dual-hub cable sheaves
BendPak cable sheaves were crafted to dominate every lifting application, no matter how big or small. They have 12” diameter sheave bodies and 4” axles make them far more likely to last the full lifespan of your lift just because of the sheer quality of construction.
Large base plates
The HDS-40X features truck lift base plates which are made super-wide, which makes sense when you factor in the size of the vehicles you’ll be putting on the runways. 12 x 12 plate dimensions are extremely secure for maximum stability and lifting longevity.
Spring-loaded safety locks
This lift features 13 lock positions which offer up to 60” of rise for comfortable undercarriage access. All of the locks will automatically engage during rise and disengage at the touch of a button. All you need to do is take one look at the lock sizes to feel confident that this lift will be one of the safest lifts you’ll ever see.
Secondary lock system
It is highly unlikely that you’ll ever need anything other than the primary locks, but since BendPak doesn’t like to leave anything to chance, they have incorporated a secondary lock system into the HDS-40X. The backup cable-slack detection system will capture loose cables immediately if slack ever develops. This system will make it entirely safe to remedy any issues without risking uneven platforms.
Rolling bridge jacks
Pick up a pair of RBJ25000 bridge jacks when you need to perform wheel service on your fleet. With two jacks you’ll be able to lift a vehicle up to 50,000 lbs., but you have to remember that the HDS-40X has a 40,000 lb. limit. The extra 10,000 isn’t just for peace of mind, it’s actually practical. The front half of most trucks tend to be heavier than the back because the front is where the engine and transmission rest.
